Looking at Precision Turbo's. Choices are either

HP6165

OR

6776SP or 6776H

I know that there are really 3 different options but I cant find any info that tells me what the difference between the SP and H are in models. This is going to be a 9month build for me. My goals are different depending on what insights I get from people.

I would like to make between 650_700awhp on E85.

Please dont post up to get something else unless it is really comparable to either of these options. It appears that prices are around 1k for either, and that fits the budget perfect. So keep all other turbo ideas to the $1k budget, and 650-700HP. Thanks

Oh yeah, For the most part she will be strip, unless I hit up the street for money. The biggest HP DSM I have been part of building was 608 to the Front dynoed at AMS in Chicago. I want to be higher than that with reliablity to spare.

presion has changed their website big time since the last time i was on it and i can't find anything your talking about but it all looks familar.. post up some links because apparently im retarded and can't find it on the site.

im pretty sure the last letter(s) mean the type of compressor cover

The first one was on EXTREMEPSI, and the other was some site I found through EBAY(Yeah I know, I know).

Hope those help.

Thanks

I really think that I like the one from Extreme PSI, but I just keep thinking will I be happy with that in the long run? For around $100 more I can get a turbo that will support up to 80 more HP. Then I start thinking will I build a car that runs 700hp. Awwww..... This is the frustrating part of the build for me. I should just pick a HP number, or a time and build the car to that instead of best value.

yes the hardest choice that is always present is what are you going for.. i do not doubt you but 700whp is a lot and i know that if i were to start a build i would either be going for 700whp or not, no in between. of course the first problem with me doing a 700whp build let alone a 500whp build is $$$$ and right now i do not have it and am starting my first of 5 years of school so i might not see that for a while. but in the mean time i am going jump on the 14B/16G drag car bandwagon

if you talked to me 6 months ago before i got fired from my job i would have been at 500whp by june but what are you gonna do.. it was sad to see the holset get sold before i even got to bolt it up.

I am finishing school myself. I got into DSM's after HS, and before I started College. All of that was 7 years ago now. It has been a long time. As I said in another thread myself and 2 other guys have built several 500hp cars, and 1 2g talon that made 608.

In the time since then several other friends have built up their mustang's, and I have been left on the sidelines. One friend is building a V-10 Viper motor with twin t76's in his 95cobra. Another one has some 05 Gt that he wont say what all is done, but he made 900+ after he dropped in a powerglde. 700 is a huge number for me, but if I am to run with these guys 700 is the least I can do. After further research Im giving myself a year to get it done. Try and find an even for late next year to bring it out and run it.

I would go with a pte 6262 billet if you want 650-700. That will put you up there and it goes for $900. If that's not big enough, go with the pte 6765 billet, it goes for about $1050. Buy a billet turbo either way, they are much better then the old cast wheels.
