Need some advice from the pros. My newly aquired car currently has a 2.5" downpipe and a multi piece no cat full exhaust to follow. The downpipe is clearly that of one that was "made" at an exhaust shop as it has some crush bends in it. As does the rest of the 2.5" system. My question is how much is this system hurting my cars performance? Is it worth it to shell out the cash for a new downpipe and possibly replace the rest of the exhaust?

Thanks
Adam

I should probably mention I currently have a stock 14B with a ported 2G manifold on 02 housing as well hard upper intercooler piping for supporting mods. Plans include a FMIC and some day a larger turbo setup with supporting mods.

Shoot me a link of the $150 DP if you can.

I would go with the stainless if I lived up north. I don't so I get aluminized mandrel bent exhaust at a local shop. There fabricator is really good.

Bit the bullet, bought an entire 1G premade exhaust downpipe to the muffler from my local DSM shop :) sounds much much better :)
