I recently got a 1997 eclipse spyder with the 2.4l non-turbo engine. I blew that engine and got a 7-bolt 2.0l turbo engine. The engine is in but i am having trouble with finding the correct engine wiring harness and ecu to get. Any help that that i get will be much appreciated. Thanks
 
i am doing the same swap and have no fuel pressure or spark i have tried several coils and two fwd turbo ecus , the harness i bought was missing the cas connector and i hard wired that and also on that harness the fuel pump relay connector was also different then what was in my spyder. im not sure what i need to do to get spark or fuel pressure. there is power going to the fuel pump i checked the three wires that are plugged into it , the terminal on the far left of the connector has power when the key is on but no power on the middle terminal or the right . any suggestions would be great.

Are you doing a 6 or 7 bolt swap?
 
tripod256 I did the exact same swap on my gs spyder and when i swap the engine i used the harness out of my donor car which was a 95 gsx and everything seems to work fine I also used the same ecu out of the gsx. Try finding a harness for a 7 bolt engine and ecu also and should work. See if you can get a ecu with EPROM. FTW

i need help with this same issue i have a 97 spyder with a 95 turbo ecu and a 95 harness im not gettin any fuel or sparkss ###zzzz help me with that email [email protected]

btw the 97 spyder has a full 97gst swap
