Curious what others have done with the hd pistons in 6 bolt 2.3's. I cleared the squirters to fit off the shelf pistons on my last build but with these pistons they hit. I'm sure I can bend them around to clear but I'd like to see what others have done. Some eliminate them, others clear them only to have them break later. For those that run them, what squirter did you use, 1g, evo, 4b11?? I would prefer to keep them. I talked with a few builders and with wiseco. With the exception of the guys up north from me, everybody else I talked to said they keep the squirters. I'd like to hear from people that run the hd pistons in a 2.3 to get first hand experiences.
Thanks.

Bent toward the center of the bore or sitting right under the counterweight? 3 of my squirters clear under the counterweight but that has them spraying into a small pocket on the edge of the piston, not on the bottom of the dish.

So this is what I have come up with… Bending the 1g squirters into a position where they clear everything and will actually spray where they'll do some good. Does this look like where you guys have yours placed?
