My 2.0 idles at like 700-800 RPM's all the time unless its warming itself up when its cold(you know it will idle at like 2 grand for like 5 mins till its warmer)but anyway my buddy's 1.8 never idles that low, i had someone tell me that its normal, that my car is supposed to idle that low because thats what the MAF is telling it to do. i dont know 
it doesnt struggle idling that low and its never stalled out so i guess its normal but i just wanted to make sure!
