best to keep the betting fun. usually i try to just bet the entrance fee or lunch. the best currency to bet with is dollar menu burgers.

'I bet you two cheese burgers And a fry that you wont break into the 14's today! ' thats high stakes right there.

Haha, I like that idea. Maybe I will be able to go to the track again this weekend and work on my launching some more. Part of my order was sent to the wrong address so I wont be getting it all till after the weekend.

hit me up when your going back to speedworld, the Laser should be ready to make a few passes

Alright, possibly this weekend. I will see what is going on if the gf wants to go again.

Oh ok your north avondale. I bought some rims off a guy off dyshart and camelback. I also have some family living in avondale. How much does it cost to race out at speedworld.

Ya, and it is 20 bucks for the night for as many runs as you can get in.

Alright you should let me know when you head out there for sure. I dont know if i could make it out this weekend though because i just read through all the rules and i dont now if they will let me in because of my tires. There pretty much worn down to the safety tab. I will see if i can figure something out though.

They dont check them maticulasly (sp?). Really all they look for is underhood to make sure you got overflow bottles and a proper hold down. Cause mine from a different car have severe cuts in the outer edge of the tread so technically mine arent aloud, but they don't check too hard, especially if it is at night.

Well my tires are flat out bald LOL. I just dont want to drive all the way out there to get turned down since its sorta a drive from where im at. Let me know when you plan on heading out there and i will see though.

Seems to me you're bogging it real bad off the line. I would launch at a higher rpm next time.

Before I had a stutterbox to launch with I would just kind of rev the engine around 5000rpm, then start to let out the clutch on the last yellow light. I would let the clutch out maybe 1/4 of the way and stab the gas a little more than half way.. Once you feel the car under boost with a little momentum let the clutch out all the way and mash the gas at the same time. I cut many 1.8x and a few 1.78's that way.

With a 16g as soon as you start to engage that clutch with the RPM's high enough it will make lots of boost. I just tried to slip the clutch for the first half a second or so until there was boost and I knew it wouldn't bog. Everyone does it a little different, good luck. You have the trap speeds to run a low 14 second pass.

Alright, still a toss up for this weekend so we will see was well.

and thanks, I was hopin for mid 14's atleast but Still new to the whole AWD launch, but thanks for the tips, I will try them out the next time I run out to the track.

NGK plugs and wires, pacesetter catback pipes with a straight through magnacore muffler. 205/55R16 BFG street tires on OZ rims. That's it. Launching at 3,500 RPM's and shifting at 6,500. 16.1 @ 84 MPH was my best, 16.3 was 'normal'.

Thats pretty close to the set up i have currently. I have a hedman header thats wrapped, custom intake that wrapped, msd spark plug wires, custom2 1/2 inch exhaust and second gen rims with 205/55/60 tires. When i get a chance to im going to run my car ftor sure now. It might just take some to get out there between work and everything.
