1G 1st runs for the GT-Racing Talon

After purchasing the Buschur racing Talon I ran into some issues with it, put in a new transmission and a PTE 6466 turbo and installed a Tial BOV. A big thank you to Trevor Holland of Hollands Performance for getting it all race ready for my 1st track day on 4.12.15.

1st Pass was a 9.447 @ 152mph
2nd pass was a 9.157 @ 155mph (my fastest pass ever and the cars personal best ever also!)
3rd pass - got kick out due to not having a NHRA license, getting my license passes in next weekend.

Totally happy with the results on the 1st time out. The track was a Little slick and cold. I definitely see a 8 second pass very soon. #HollandsPerformance #9sec1/4 #Skip10's

I guess you were serious about buying a 1G drag car! Maybe I should have sold you mine when you asked! His car was put together much better than mine. I'm going to get kicked out of every track just testing my car this season since I only have a 6-pt cage. Every chassis place around here is flaky or it would have been updated to a 10-pt by now.

Ya I'm working on getting it down to a 1.3 60ft. I just got my licensing paperwork and runs in this past weekend and had the chassis certified. I should be all ready to go, maybe we'll see each other at the next Shootout.

I am considering the PTE 6466 turbo myself and was unaware that it was an 8 second turbo. If not too personal what kind of boost are you running to get the numbers you are running?

I ran 2 8 second passes on it so far. Running a lil over 42psi
