1ST Log and got some Knock

Got my datalogger today and I did a run. I hit 5 maybe once or twice on it and 1 a couple other times. Up in the higher rpm range. What usually causes this? Car seems like a loss of power. What do you do to fix the knock?

Yes, boost level info would help. Before you begin logging, i would recommend checking your base timing to see if it is in spec (+5). Any fuel control? If you are knocking, you are more than likely running a little on the lean side. Do you have any other mods besides what is in your profile?

By the way, where are you in Iowa?

Im running stock wastegate with bcs removed. In waterloo. Whats in my profile plus its a 6bolt now. With balance shafts removed, light flywheel and clutch

Do you have an aftermarket boost guage? I bet you $$ for starters you are experiencing boost creep with that exhaust. ECU is pulling timing in higher RPM's (hence, why it seems like it looses power in upper RPM band).
Time for a fuel pump!

Yea time for a fuel pump and in order to do that gotta get a piggy back or some sort of fuel managment.

As long as you still run the stock injectors, you will not need any fuel management regardless of a bigger fuel pump.

Can you post the log? That would be very helpful .

Also, did you verify that your TPS is reading close to 100%? Did you check your IDC's at WOT? How about plug gap? Boost leaks?

How do you post the logs and ill give that a shot?

That depends on which software you are using. Most logging programs have a PC interface that allows you to hotsync your Palm and view the logs on the PC. Some also have an export function that allows you to turn the log into a text format.

How do post your your logs anyways? I have a data logger and I want to get some opinions about my logs.
