1st log/knock/timing question.

I finally got rid of my fuel cut by replacing the intake manifold gasket, huge leak.

Now that I can use full throttle I logged a 3rd gear run to 7000rpms and I am getting a knock count of 10 with 17deg of timing. The injectors are at about 85% duty cycle. Does this sound good or is the knock too much? If so what can I do to decrease it? I have my MBC set to 15lbs.

Is your mod list up to date? Id say until you get something to adjust your airflow/fuel, you might turn the boost down a tad. What octane is this on? Of course its ideal to get no knock, but drop your boost to around 10 and slightly raise it after each log if you dont have knock. Once you get to a point where you are knocking, turn it back down. Once you get something you can adjust with, SAFC, MAFT or dsmlink, then you can add some fuel and maybe raise the boost. Also make sure your intercooler is clean and getting a good flow to it.

Try turning boost to stock levels, turn it up 1 at a time assuming you have 0 knock...

Also 1g's get phantom knock my 94 had it pretty bad... but usually phantom knock pegs at 43 counts...

Turn your boost down and if you can adjust fuel pressure adjust to near stock levels as much as possible. then post what your results are

Thanks for the suggestions, i'll turn the boost down some and clean the I/C, i'm pretty sure it needs a good cleaning. I'm also running 91oct gas, the highest you can get here in Colorado at the pump.

Also, my sig. was pretty much up to date but now it is completely.
