knock question, log included

i just got my cable made up and working today for my new logger. palm viix. when i saw my knock counts i was like
ps at idle it says my tps is at 18.4% and isc is around 20%. maybe thats the reason for my high idle? the question is, why do i have such high knock counts?

the grade of gas could be a low grade like 89 and 83. the amount of fuel going in the cylinder could be too lean.

40+ knock, you engine loves you

I'm not DSM god or anything but if your getting that much knock and your stock thats just not cool fix your TPS and that should help set it around 9 - 10 but make sure its around 99 - 100 at WOT. Have you done a boost leak test??

Do another log and have your O2 reading in there along with timing.

Hell it could be phantom knock but idk again I'm not god

have fun doin the TPS its a bi*** you either have to take off the TB or remove the Fuel rail mines was shot when i got the car so i know how much of a bi*** it is

I haven't done a boost leak test, is there a vfaq or walk-through on how to make the tester?

Do another log and have your O2 reading in there along with timing.

I'll post it up later today. thanks for the info, and does anyone know where i can get an isc? parts store wants almost 300 for one.

and as far as the ISC they arent cheap try a junk yard and how do you know that you need one have you fixed your tps yet??

I logged my car before and I was getting 43 counts of knock when I first got the logger. It turned out the reason was because I was running so rich. As I leaned out my afc it went away.

i have an error 11, and in the manual it says to check injectors and such, could that be the reason I am getting the knock? bad injectors aren't doing their duty right?
