My buddy(who hasnt signed up on this forum yet) just bought a 2g with a 6bolt swap and it has two problems, one of which is the clutch.

When you depress the clutch and attempt to put the car in first, the trans grinds and it sometimes pops out. This is all with the clutch pushed in. Other than that, everything shifts smooth and nothing else grinds. One thing that I did notice is that the clutch grabs right at the floor. I was thinking that maybe the clutch isnt fully disengaged. Anyone else have any thoughts?

I'm pretty sure that the clutch is supposed to grab about half way up, if it doesnt you are going to want to adjust it until it grabs in that general area.
