Ok I just got my 94 mitsu eclipse 1.8l a couple weeks ago and I was doing some routine maintenance on it to get her ready for winter. Well while I was doing this I found that my exhaust manifold is cracked in two places and now I am in the process of trying to find a replacement. Now here is the question what is the difference between the 1.8L manifold and a manifold off of a 2.0l gs? Are they ported different or any thing like that because my buddy can get me one for dirt cheap or am I just wasting my time? Sorry for my ignorance in advance on these motors.

Yup, your only option is another 1.8 manifold. How deep are the cracks on your mani? Mine had plenty of surface cracks, but I couldn't find any hissing from deep cracks.
