1G 1st car, replaced clutch. Help

I've tried searching as much as I can with no luck. I have a 93 laser rs that I just replaced the clutch in. Since then I accelerate very slowly in 1st and 2nd. the rpms go up very slowly as well. As the title says it's my first car so I honestly don't know a lot and I'm scratching my head. Any input would be amazing. I really want to figure this out and get it fixed I miss my car haha. Thanks in advance...

Accelerate slowly as in the clutch is slipping? What all did you replace? Just the disk, or did you buy a whole kit? (pressure plate, disk, flywheel)

What about gears 3 4 and 5?

It doesn't feel like it's slipping or at least not like it did when the old clutch went out. My Rpms increase really slowly even when my gas pedal is to the floor but only 1st and 2nd. When going into 3rd it feels like it grabs a bit hard at first but otherwise normal, 4th and 5th are normal. I replaced the disk, TOB, and pressure plate.

Clutch won't cause that. Sounds like you didn't hook something back up correctly. Some normal part of the car that didn't get put back correctly. Turbo or non turbo?

Go back over everything you unhook during the installation process. Did you change anything else during this installation?

Slave cylinder, and control arms. I'll look at it tomorrow. Wouldn't surprise me if something was hooked up wrong. The guy helping didn't seem to know nearly what he claimed and only repair I've done myself was replacing the alternator. So I know pretty much next to nothing.
