I've had a set of the clear 1gb headlights for sale all over ebay for the last two months. I noticed today some cracking on the divider between the high and low beams and wanted to see if this is a common problem.
I compared the internal reflector housing with the stock headlights and noticed the housing is not secured to the outer plastic housing of the headlight at all on the low beam side.
If someone has a set of these and is willing to take a look at the inside of their headlights, I would appreciate it. I want to see if my set is a fluke or if this is a design issue. The pic below is taken from the low beam side looking toward the inside corner where the corner light would be mounted. If you have a set of these, does yours look like the pic below or is the internal housing screwed to the plastic housing like it is in a stock headlight? I also attached a pic of the cracking I'm seeing. Thanks!
