Hey, just wanted to see what you guys have to say about the new look of my '92 Talon. The wheel covers are saying bye-bye next year to new rims, after I repaint the rest of the car. Me and my dad did all the work on this bumper. Also check out the modified stock headlights. I wet sanded and buffed the entire lens, and changed the paint underneath from silver to black.

does it lower front clearance? That would be a deal killer for me (i am looking to replace my busted front bumper). It looks good otherwise though!

Well, I personally don't think it flows well with the shape of the car. I think it'd look better to fill the front opening with a big FMIC too. Your paint and headlights look super clean though. but, to each his own.

did you keep your bumper support with it? can you take some pictures of it with the hood open, mainly the area between the headlights? my stock bumper is cracked from an accident, but im not sure if this will work well wit my fmic, i like the bumper though and it looks really nice on your car.

I have the entire drift kit, I love it, and my Buschur FMIC fits perfect. I had to torch the entire front bumper support in half and it fit perfect, but then I just removed it. Your car looks good man.

sweet, i had to get rid of my bumper support with my fmic, my stock bumper is trimmed alot to get the i/c to fit behind there, you have to cut at all for your i/c to fit behind the drift bumper?

This bumper does lower the front end quite a bit, but I think it still has like 5 or 6 inches of clearance, so it's not too bad. I was thinking of getting the rest of the kit, but I think the rest of the kit or any other kits they make for 1g DSMs are really ugly. I'm much happier leaving it as it is. I think the '92-'94 Talons are the sexiest of all the DSM body styles. The drift front bumper is the only thing I like out of all the kits. It kinda flows with the rest of the car, if you use your imagination. If anyone wants the old bumper, I might be willing to sell it. I'm repainting the rest of the car in the spring, so I can still get the rest of the kit over the winter if I change my mind. As for the bumper support, look at the attached photo, it kinda explains what I did to solve that problem. About my lack of an intercooler, maybe I can put this $85 plastic one on!

the front of your dsm = sucks! put it back to the sexy 1gb or at least put some skirts on it that are to some form the same height as the bumper...

dsm's are nice cars from the factory.. and a 1g is defiently not a show car.. its a go car. now sell that crap and get a bigger turbo..

Also.. your headlights rock @$$
