I have engines and wire harness from pop up headlight Talons, one pop up headlight eclipse and now a 92/93 laser.

I pulled the motor from the rolled rally car 1ga and dropped it into the Laser ( 1gb ) . The plugs for the coil, cam position and things are not compatible.

We swapped motors from a 1ga to a 1gb Talon with no issues like this.

I have the old harness but I know what a pain it will be to swap over the engine harness. I know I dont want to cut up the harness. Can someone explain to me whats going on? Did the laser have a different engine harness? The Laser was bought as a roller and was modified inthe past. Is it a 7 bolt engine car and thats why its different?

Thanks
