I'm 100% street, auto and my future combo will be 700hp 2.3L.

I will have Feal 441 coilovers in weeks
I have a high stall converter
I don't want to spin but...
Smaller diameter accelerate slightly faster
Bigger sidewalls grab better on launches

Any 1gs roll with 26" tires, year round vs track?
When you lock out the steering on a 26", any inside rub?

17x9 +30 for the fronts is looking good.
(3mm spacer if needed for the +27mm track guys recommend)

I'm either doing
255/40/17
255/45/17
255/35/18
255/40/18

I like the idea of 255/40/18, 10" wide and 26" tall.

Custom fender flares

Custom wheels getting made etc, so I want to get more real info before I move forwards.

Thanks

I would get a set of Evo factory wheels with a set of 245x40x17 tires. I think the factory off set and the quality of factory wheels are best. check my profile of modds. it might give you some ideas.

I'm doing a Natfab rear subframe and trailing arms with Feal coilovers. I'll probably do a staggered setup now for sure and go really wide for less spinning vs taller tires so I'm leaning...

255/35/ on 18x9 +30
295/30/ on 18×10 +15 or +20 depending on spacing after new suspension install.

Hi, I have a 25.6" Hoosier 315/30/18 on 18x12's and installed steering limiters on the inner tie rod like drift guys use. Still has enough turns for 3 pt turns. Good gearing with the taller tire

Whoa the rear looks great, that 315 almost fit under the wheel well on a 1gb. WTH?

What's your rear suspension, you got the Natfab subframe?
Nat has an option to gain 1" of BS by tweaking the lower rear trailing arm so you can stuff more in there.

Here's an option I'm looking into after seeing your rears, I'm doing custom flares too so they'll tuck under...

265/35/18 on 18x9 +25
10.43 wide
7.30 tire height
25.30 total height (642.7mm)
5.98 + 3.02
6.69 + 3.73

315/30/18 on 18x11 +15
12.4 wide
7.44 sidewall
25.44 total height (646.17mm)
6.59 + 4.41
7.29 + 5.11

Sorry, should have clarified that mine is a front-wheel drive and I only have the 315s on the front. I have run a 17x10 RPF1 with a 275/35 17 on the back, but that current picture is a 17x8 with a 225/45 because I wanted to have more rear rotation for autocross

That makes way more sense, thise fit way too snug under the lip. I estimated with the Natfab 1" BS gain I still need 1" quarter lip addition for the 295 let alone the 315.
