1G vs 2G Fuel Rails????????????

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

the only diference i know off is that one of them is shorter(1g)

one is shorter, and a 1g fpr will only fit a 1g rail,2g fpr will fit 2g rail(the bolt holes are slightly different..not sure tho)

just check out vendors that sell fuel stuff, you always have to specify 1g or 2g rail...

i kno but i told someone i was doing a 6 bolt swap and they said make sure u use the 7bolt fuel rail

i was like

i dont have a FPR yet, so... my question is, without the FPR which one will benefit more?

the differences are insignificant. Spend your time penny pinching on more important things like full standalone... not stock fuel pressure regulators.

how can i tell which is wish just looking at it? i have a 6bolt swap but it was done previous to my ownership so i dont know which he did. thanks

Hard to believe no one has noticed that the 2g fuel rail is tapered on the inside. The 1g's inside stays the exact same diameter along the entire length of it, but the 2g's shrinks in the middle.

I run the 1g.

I never noticed that. Maybe it's an oddity of your 2g fuel rail? I have a spare 1g and 2g laying around and the only difference I see is the FPR end is "twisted" different. I used to have a 2g rail on mine, but wanted the Buschur AFPR setup, so I got a 1g rail and had that swapped in.
