Follow the directions in this article except for the following.

1. Do not use the BOV line for your boost controller, keep it connected to the turbo outlet pipe.

2. Do not disable your FPS if you're still running the stock fuel pump.

oldman.. i removed my fps and im on stock fuel pump, why is this bad?
Depending on where you live, removing FPS can cause difficulty with HOT start in high ambient temperature which shouldn't be too much of an issue in Washington.

On the EGR valve, if I don't have a block-off plate, can I just loop the vacuum hose from one of the EGR nipples onto the other EGR nipples to eliminate its purpose?

Or do I need to completelly block off the gases from coming in contact with the EGR valve?

By looping the vacuum hose on the EGR valve, will the engine make enough vacuum on its own to open up the EGR valve and let it function?

I'm just not sure if a block off plate is really needed.

thanks for the info oldman, I thought thats what it would be, might have a little trouble this summer but I should be fine...well thanks again

Sorry didn't even see this post. Definitely use a block off plate to prevent the valve from being gunked up and stuck open which have happend in the past.

No problem.

This was a helpful topic, i read the Taboo instructions and since i dont need to care about emissions, i figured this would be the best for me, i have a 255 pump and a Aeromotive FPR. And since i upgraded to a GM Maf and will have the BOV before the MAF i suppose i dont need to connect the BOV to the intake.

Yes, if you've gone to a MAF-T blowthrough setup you can atmosphere-vent the BOV (mounted before the GM MAS) assuming it's an aftermarket, and not the stock CBV, which remains open under vacuum. Which would allow unfiltered air into the intake tract, and would be bad.

And no, do not follow the vacuum line instructions in that diagram. The boost source for the MBC should come from the compressor outlet (marked 'plug' on that diagram), not the BOV vacuum line.

You don't need to but you will lose the stream of air that helps keep the turbo spooled in between shifts.

I havent bought a BOV yet, and im not sure which one to buy to support my setup,

This is the IC, GM Maf i got..
