1g turbo timer install...please help asap

i need a write up on a turbo timer install on a 1g...not a hard wire set up ### im not looking to hardwire it to my car i have the install harness... vfaq only has a write up for a 2g....please help...im doing it right now

What turbo timer do you have?

You will have to remove the steering column cover and the cover below that. After those are removed, trace the ignition wires up into the dash until you find the black (6 pin) connector with blue clips (I think). Then plug in your wiring harness, route your wires and plug in your turbo timer... Then your set.

Mounting is pretty much preference, I have mine mounted in the center consoul with my safc...

i have a hks type 0...i have the harness plugged in and the ground run to the ebrake but the timer doesn turn on..whats wrong? also i have extra plugs with little caps hanging off the harness' what are they for? i need help asap..thanks

The ground doesn't run to the ebrake. the ground needs to run to a ground point in your car. There should be a grey wire with little red marks on it. that runs to your ebrake. and you need to splice that grey wire into the ebrake wire

Yep. The little black wire is your ground.

The grey one is the E-brake and the black one is ground. The "extra plugs with caps", I assume you mean extra wires. None of them need to be hooked up. They just supply a quick link for other things. One is ground, one is ignition, and one is a constant power supply. You will have to put a meter on them to figure out which is which.
