1g to 2g mas

Hey ive searched the forums and can't find what Im looking for? Recently got a dejon intake w a 2g mas. I bought the car and it had a k&n filter on it. Basically everything was plug n play besides 1 clip that went to the k&n filter box connected to the mas harness do I need this or is it something that goes w the k&n filter box setup. Sry I dont have pics at the time...

I think you have to wire or plug into the new connector to the old one so you can run the 2g mas. The 2g mas has a different connector than the 1g.

It says you have ECM-Link V3, why don't you skip all the hassle of doing a MAF and go speed density? There are more benefits of running it than a MAF.

what gains is there in using the 2g mas instead of the stock 1g???

Metering more airflow. The stock 1g maf begins to drop counts at about 30lb/min. The 2g maf doesn't drop counts until around 50lb/min.

with a 1g maf you get whats called maf overrun, 2g handles a lot more airflow.

To the OP, are you trying to install a 2g MAF in your 1g or is this a different issue?

Sorry if this question has been answered im new to the forums, but what type of intake, filter adapter,and filter do I need? I'v searched this all over and could not find anything on what hardwear to use to put a 2g maf into my 1g.
