1g throttle body 90 or 91-94

I have a 1g throttle body on my 2g. It only has 1 vacuum nipple on it. It is a turbo throttle body. I am going to be replacing the seals and i want to make sure i purchase the right one.

Could you possibly throw up a pic? As I'm aware, 90's have 2 on top and 2 on side where the 91+ have 3 on top.

From memory could be wrong. But don't think 1g turbo models had just 1 nipple on top.

Only one vac. Nipple? That's weird. My 90 turbo and my 90 NT both have two nipples and my 92 has 4.

Probably a JDM throttle body off of a galant VR4.

the nipples were what confused me also. is it possible to put a 1.8 tb on there?

If it was like a 1g N/T throttle body with one nipple pointing towards the intake manifold, it'd be an Evo III part.

Here is a picture of it on the car. I havent taken it off yet. Also would the 91-94 seals work if it was a galant vr4 throttle body? If not which seals could i get?

Yes, everything from seals to bolts to gaskets will work on that JDM VR4 throttle body. It's all the same.

Great news! I will be purchasing the 91-94 seals tonite. How come i never hear anyone else running the galant vr4 throttle body?

My brother and I both are running them. It's just not a common one to come across. Plus, if you need emissions, you're not in luck.

is there any pros to running it? i am running a regular 1g iac and i have to close my biss and throttle in order to get a idle around 1100. do you think i should be running the vr4 "tip" on my iac or is it the same?

The ISC's are the same. The only pro to running that throttle body would be to have fewer ports to cap off which means less boost leak potential. That's it.

If you have to adjust your BISS and throttle that much, then you have leaks elsewhere and/or don't have things adjusted properly.
