1g Thermostat Housing

Ok real simple....can anyone post up a CLEAR pic (trust me I spent a good hour looking for a clear pic in the gallery) of the routing of the hoses from the front of the 1g Thermostat Housing. It would be so f'in helpful right now!!!

That would be great if he was looking for the vacuum lines but he's asking for the routing of the coolant lines on the thermostat housing.

steve that's perfect only small problem is that I have a different style housing I guess I have two pipe coming out in front. One should be running to the turbo and the other I'll have to block off. *Using an external oil cooler* Just trying to figure out which pipe is which

Oops, sorry that's a 1G diagram I had. I'll look and see if I can pull a 2G one.

Heres the pic..... There are the two smaller pipe coming from the thermostat housing. One goes to the turbo and one goes to the oil filter housing. Which is which

I just went out and looked and it seems like the upper circled one goes to the turbo and the lower square one to the oil cooler.

I have manifold heatshields so it's a little difficult to see the turbo water pipe to be 100% sure.

The lower piece runs behind the turbo from what I can see.

Thanks kinda....Even though your thermostat looks different then mine. So I'm pretty sure I know which is which but not 100% sure. AUGH!!!

What is different? It should be the same thing. The one shown in my 1st pic is the one you circled.

It's just that I couldn't (and still cant see) the lower pipe (the one I had a square around in my pic). That and what you said countered what steve said.. I'm just frustrated that I cant get a clear answer.

How does it counter? Unless I've missed something we are both saying that the circled one in you picture goes to the turbo. The other runs to the oil cooler. I just couldn't see the whole water pipe to the turbo to make sure.
