Resolved 1g thermostat housing in 2g

I just bought a 7 bolt bottom end with a 1g head, however i'm putting on a rebuilt 2g head. The 1g came with the thermo housing and the thermostat, i'm wondering if i put it on the 2g head will it work with the wiring harness and all that?

The sensors on the housing are removable. Just install the 1g sensors on the 2g housing.
