I have a FWD 5spd 92 Talon TSi that I'm struggling to find the correct axles for. One from Autozone was wrong and the axle from Rock Auto was also wrong.

Need help finding new axles that are actually the correct ones I don't want to keep ordering and having to return, thanks.

You have no vehicle profile. Has anything been swapped? What isn't working?
Working on the profile. Everything is stock in that area. I'm not currently by the boxes or have part numbers. Autozone only had one they could get for the front right for 140. The outer splines fit in the hub perfect but on the transmission side the diameter was smaller and spun in the transmission.
axle clearly didn't work so I ordered a front right axle on rock auto, it came in and was the exact same as the autozone one except I was only out $40.
For now I took the inner cup from the old axle and put it on the new axle and secured the boot. No play and actually works great but I'd like to find the proper axle.

Something had to be swapped or there was a build year difference. I thought it was model 93 only but maybe not.
Anyway the point is 93 94 fwd turbo use larger spline axles than their 90 to 92 counterparts. So it sounds like that's what you have. Order axles for a 93. Verify the part num is different from what they already gave you.

From my knowledge it would have to have a 93+ fwd trans in the car. We have a 1g sitting here a buddy purchased years ago that has a 93 trans in it. They use a larger spine then the early ones. The spline is the same size as a 2g diff as we have popped a 2g cut into the trans before just being curious. These axles are not easy to find as we found and i think anything from the parts store will be wrong, if you find a place selling new ones i would be very interested as we in fact need some too. We always wondered if we could make one with a 2g inner cup and the shaft and outer of the 1g but never got around to it.

Okay that sounds about right then, when we pulled the engine it was clear that it had already been pulled before so it would make sense if it was swapped.
I'll get a 93 axle on order and see what happens. Thank you for the help.
