1g smic on a 2g

my question is my stock smic's fins are all bent up and i found a 1g intercooler at a junk yard today for cheap they didnt even know what it was.i know it wont bolt up easy but was wondering if i would notice any diffence cause its bigg .also it was in great condition.

i know the 1g side mounts have an intake that is angled upwards.. probably would not be the easiest job to do.

i know but i was thinking of welding it to fit

i suppose if you were to cut that angled piece off and weld another on it would work. But as you stated before mounting would be a bit of a problem too. Just depends on how much work your willing to put into it. Other then those issues it would work. Just not a direct bolt on. which is a bummer. If you decide to do it let me know how it goes
