1g running 1000$ worth it?

There's a 91 gst with no rear seats or trunk interior for 1000$ even could probly go lower...

Info I know is head may need to be replaced block may need rebuilding.. other than that the car should drive 50miles to my house and its not registered.
Planning on the engine comming out after it shits. So I don't know

I dont get why people post these threads. Look at the car dude. If the body is ok and it doesnt look bad buy it. Its worth what you think its worth. You know the cost of parts...figure out if its worth it or not. Do you need someone to tell you to buy it?

It gives a rough estimate. It's usually high, but compare trade in (car's actual value) to Private party (what he wants). and subtract parts missing and overall condition of the car.

If the ad is online, post a link for us to see. To me $1000 is a lot for something that isn't running, of course there are so many variables (mileage, interior/exterior condition, clean title, etc.), it impossible for us to tell you whether it's a good deal.

the biggest factors are what your plans for it are. if you plan to gut it then the missing rear seats and gutted trunk dont matter. if you plan to biuld a complete "balls out" drag engine then the motor would have to go anyway. however if you plan to daily drive it and you want to restore it that could be another story, how much time do you have, how much money can you dump into it, are you capable of doing the repairs/ modding/ maintenance yourself? these are all questions that only you know the answers to that make our opinions less and less valuable to you. but i can say this, if your not sure what direction you would like to go with the car, then purchase a car that would be suitable to go down any path you take.

I bought a laser I towed home for 900. The aftermarket parts that came with the car was the deal breaker. I also got the car running though, was a burnt ecu. I read that that car might need a new head. It's your call man.
