Is there any way to redesign the control arm that connects to the front of the subframe from the hub? Reason i ask, the EvoX rim hits the control arm, and if at all possible, i would want to get rid of the spacer and extended studs to keep the rim under the car. Or, has anyone redesigned the rear subframe for road racing?

How much more clearance do you need?
When I installed Nissan 300Z rims on my car, I had to shave down the lip that sticks out on the side of the trailing arm. I only needed to take off about 3 or 4mm. If you need more clearance than that, how about dimpling the trailing arm? Maybe cut out a section and weld in a plate, or a curved plate?

I am planning on doing that, or cutting down the whole arm, and making a custom arm that doesnt curve like the stock one and bolt it closer to the center of the car. The purpose of that, is then i have no restriction on size of rims. Only thing i have to figure out after that, is how to make a widebody rear without making it look ###. I think i will have to add some metal and push out the whole fender well. I guess we will see. I really want to keep the tires under the wells.
