1g power windows to manual

What would be needed to convert my power windows to manual roll ups?

The crank mechanism and the crank. It might be easier to go to a junkyard and pull everything out include the door panel, but is there a reason you want to go to manual?

if you have some time on your hands for this project, most likely the cheapest way to go about this is by visiting your local salvage and finding a dsm with manual windows and swapping your power window to the manual setup on your dsm.

well, i am making my doors more lightweight and i'd like to get rid of the power windows feature,

plus when your working on your car with no battery, its nice to be able to put the windows down

Aside from the manual roll down without battery it's not that much of a weight reduction. If I remember correctly it's only like 10 or so lbs.

i like roll up...plus when your pushing a car into a tight place and trying to steer with the door open... it becomes a problem ...

i guess i just have to pull a manual roll up assembly off a 1g at the jy and just swap it..

i just installed power windows it my laser. it about one lbs difference for power than manual. plus you have to cut a hole. or change door panels. i have every thing to change to manual sitting in my scraped out 90 eclipse.
