i was wondering if any of you guys have tried doing this? i want to basically block off the lower half of the throttle body on a 1g nt throttle body. i was wondering if the car would be able to idle fine sense i can adjust the idle with dsmlink and the biss screw. the only reason i ask this is because many cars dont have the amount of crap to control idle like our cars. usually its just a throttle body without a bunch of wires running from it. so if any of you have doen this please tell me about your experience with it.
thanks

I am going to put it on my car just like that. You might have a little issue on cold mornings cause your fast idle air valve will be blocked off but other than that you should be good.

Our ECU's seem to use timing and the ISC to control the idle so... if you have the BISS adjusted for your desired idle RPM it would probably work. You'll need to use the gas pedal to keep it alive on cold starts, but after 30-60 seconds the car should be warmed up enough to deal with it.
