I was going to install S90 throttle body but after reading bad reviews and seeing pics of how they were built, I decided to go another route.

Antique 1g throttle bodies sell for a premium these days so Here is what I did.
I took a less sought after 1G Non turbo 60mm Throttle body and modified it to hook up via vband clamp. From what I have seen you can also use a 3000gt throttle body.

No more elbow gaskets!!

Wanted to eliminate vac leaks so made this set up fool proof. FIAV and IAC are blocked off on bottom of throttle body. IAC was remoted using R,venge performsnce IAC block (magnus one is disco)

Pressed in heavy duty seals. Shmeared Ultra grey RTV on outside of seals

Only down side to this set up was having to use studs instead of bolts. I used stainless studs. I added permatex seal & lock on threads to stop any vac leaks on throttle body bolt threads.

I’ve got a few buddies that did this with their Boomba and s90 throttle bodies, always wanted to do it with my NT throttle body to eliminate the coupler like how you said but maybe one day. Might I ask why studs instead of bolts?
The lip of v band is too close to throttle body so cant get bolts in all the way. So had to do studs
