1G n/t tranny problem

Ok, what is happening is it seems like the tranny is slipping, it will go for a while just fine and then all the sudden the tranny seems to disenege, like it was in neutral, and just rev the engine. L8ly it has gotten very bad, to the point where the car can't be driven. Any suggestions??

if its an automatic its time for a new tranny if its a five speed your due for a clutch. th 1stgen auto are horrible if gone thru 3 of them in my girlfriends car already (2yrs) just switch to a 5sp. should be able to find all the parts at a junkyard.
