1g into a 2g (2g crank angle sensor)

what do you mean its deleted? the crank angle sensor?
if so then how would it even start without it

I plan on using a 1g Cas for my 6 bolt swap just need to make/buy a harness if you go that route.

You found the link, now you just need to read it. The second sentence on the very first page explains what happens to the 2g crank position sensor (CPS).

It seems this was the answer most of you wanted, so we found a solution on how to mate the 1g motor utilizing the 1g cam AND crank sensor trigger assembly to the stock 2g computer.

The 1g CAS, when its wired in correctly, sends the cam and crank position signal to the ECU.

When i did my swap I had to order a used black top cas, was the only one I could get to work, all were wired correctly.

so would i would have to use the 1G CAS instead of my 97-99 CAS??

I just got a 1g plug style green top for mine and haven't had a single problem out of it. And it does meantion the directions in the Magnus write up because that is where I got the info for my swap. It's a long read but worth it.
