1g intercooler in a 2g

Can't find anything through searches. A 1g intercooler should bolt up for a 2g right? Also, it's bigger and better than the 2g IC right?

I was under the impression that the 2g intercooler was of better design.
But maybe I'm wrong - hopefully a 1g guy can follow up on this for you.

The 1G Does have slightly better flow and is a tad we bit bigger (had to say like that ) for 2G Being better design I dont know about that

it wont just bolt on with no problems -
but yes - a 1g core is thicker then a 2g.
