1G/2G Intercooler differences

Are there any differences between 1G and 2G stock side-mount intercoolers and their piping? Other than the obvious blow-off valve difference but are the parts interchangeable? Diameters of the piping, fitment, etc... If I were to have an intercooler kit for a 1G would it fit on my 2G?

The side mounts are quite a bit different. IF you fabricated some mounting brackets and made your own piping than it could be made to work, but it will in no way bolt on and work.

No that will not work without modifying it quite a bit.
