Hey, I just bought this setup from someone on the internet, and for some completley retarted reason I thought it was for a 2nd gen when it was actually for a 1st gen, I know I know i'm retarded for that mistake.

Anyways Im wondering if i could make this work on my car, worst comes to worse Im going to keep the 1st gen bov and sell the piping but it would be nice if i could keep it all. Thanks in advance!.

This is a picture of the exact product I bought.

Only way to know for sure is to go and try it. I think the fuse box is going to get in the way. I just changed back to stock pipes and have a set of 2g pipes if interested, its apexi uicp and bov.

Good Luck!

Yeah I will be trying it, but I have to wait for it to be shipped. Just wondering if anyone knew in the mean time...

You could use the throttle body elbow, but I'm betting that the longer pipe isn't going to work in your 2g. Reason being: the BOV is on the bottom and is facing backwards. If you're planning on venting the BOV to atmosphere, you may be able to get away with it, but if you're not (and hopefully you aren't) then I think your best bet would be to sell it to someone with a 1g who needs a cheap upgrade. You may want to keep the BOV if you don't already have an aftermarket BOV, then you could buy yourself a dejontool UIP (what I did) or Greddy, or what ever floats your boat and have the pipe flanged for a 1g BOV and you're all set. But short answer: I don't think it would work.

the bov will actually be facing > that way and like 15 degrees \/, it just looks backwards in the pic because the whole pipe is upside down, and stuff... and even if the bov was backwards, you could take it off and turn it around 180 degrees, all you would need is a new gasket...

Ar... You're right. :coy: I just played around with the picture in Paint, turning it upside down and the other way. Now I see how it's positioned. The recirc tube might have to be bent a bit, but it should work. Thanks for catching my mistake.

Thanks guys for the help, so it looks like i will be able to use it then. Thats what I was hoping. Like mentioned above, even if it doesnt work, Im still going to take the bov to replace my leaky stock one.
