1g intake mani in a 2g

I searched and could not find what I am lookin for... I am curently getting my head port matched to a 1g intake manifold and I was wondering where all the 2g guys mounted their transistor pack and coils??? Any pictures would be nice as I am trying to keep my engine bay as clean lookin as possible...

There are a couple solutions...
1. you need to find a place to re-locate the MDP/MAP sensor
2. move the coil pack in the space by the brake fluid reservoir
3. relocate the fpr solenoid too ^^^^^
4. the power transistor ....... dude you're on your own I have no clue

I did this a long time ago but don't remember exactly what was done. I know I took one of the oem coilpack mounting brackets and mounted that and the packs on the 1g intake mani with only like 2 bolts and it all lined up and all the wires reached. Just try a few different combos and you'll see which one works. The mdp sensor is usually the main problem.

I swapped brackets so I could put the coil pack in the stock location. Then I just tee'd a vacuum line and super glued a hose to the MDP sensor and set it inside the curve of the intake mani out of sight, same with the power chip.

so all I need is to find the factory 1g coil mount and just replace the coils on it to mount it in the factory location???

Hey thought I would ask another question, As far as throttle body is concerned would I be alright using my stock 2g throttle body on the 1g intake manifold??? It does fit with a little modification to the top of the intake manifold to make room for the egr nipples...

Yes, you'd be alright with a 2g tb but better off with a 1g.

For the transistor I mounted it right above the TB elbow. I modified the stock mounting plate to fit it there. The coils I modified the stock coil bracket by cutting it up and then bending one of the bolt holes from 90º angle to flat with the rest of the bracket and mounted it on the strut tower bolt. For the MDP sensor I got one of those adapter things from one of the vendors(not sure) then zip tied it to a piece of the harness.

That Looks awesome thanx for the idea, I am still looking to find brackets off a 1g so I can just swap the stuff... but if I can't I think I know how I am gonna do it........

Those are all modified 2g brackets, so if you already got them you might as well use them.
