I have a 1992 Plymouth Laser RS AWD Turbo. And the car is idle surging pretty badly...it will jump fom 1000rpm to 1500 rpm and keep going back and forth. When I first bought the car it was doing it and I thought it was because the guy had the blow of valve atmospheric. So I re-mapped the blow off valve and it fixed it for a while but now it is doing it again...Any suggestions? Help would be much appreciative...

Dude before you go through all that hard stuff check the BISS screw on the throttle body. I have a 92 Laser and when I was getting idle surge that was all it was. Over time it backs itself out just tighten it all the way and then pull it out 2 turns and you should be fine. You can tune it if you want and have someone watch the RPMs as you play with the screw and set it at exactly what you want. Just my opinion but I would try that before going to the complicated stuff.

Thanks guys. I bought a new B.I.S.S. screw and put it in and sure enough it fixed my idle surge problem. Thanks for the advice....
