All you 97-99 guys that think you are better off then us 95-96 guys heres one for you....Today at work got a vehicle in for lower end noise ...found out after 40k it had cw. Nobody is safe from it, so please stop overhyping such a miniscule percentage. My .02 Thankyou

98 - 99 guys generally are better off as the majority of 2G crankwalk victims are 95 - 97. And please don't bring up the old "well 98 - 99 are newer so they haven't got enough miles on them yet". A 1999 Eclipse is a five year old car for crying out loud!!

true, i have a 98 with 139,000, still no crankwalk :dsm: :thumb:
 
I love how everyone gets so defensive. I was(and I think I succeeded) trying to help the guy out. He didnt know that you could use your stock 2g tranny with a 6 bolt swap. You dont even need a different clutch. Armed with this info he decided to swap in a 6 bolt, or at least thats what he said. I would hate to see someone spend a lot of money on something and have it fail on them.
