1g fwd turbo into 1g awd

will a 14b turbo from a 1g fwd fit into an awd 1g without having to change anything? because i know an awd exhaust system is a bit different but i need to know because i might buy an awd 1g but the guy says the turbo seal is blown and theres excessive oil going into the intake from the seal. but i have a working turbo from a fwd. so just want to know if it'll work please post if you know thanks!

As long as both cars are either automatics or sticks, then they're identical turbos. Automatic cars came with a TD04 13g; manual cars came with the 14b.

But even if the one was a 5 psd and the other was an automatic they would still interchange rite? I mean ya it would be kind of pointless to downgrade to a 13b but on the other hand it could be an upgrade to a 14b. Correct me if im wrong, it was just a thought.

The exhaust manifold outlet for an A/T turbo car is offset. The turbos will bolt up but you'll have a nasty step in the collector port when installing the other turbo on either stock exhaust manifolds.

and im pretty sure the oil and coolant lines are different between the 13g/14b
