Ok i'm really confused here, i just installed my rear agxs today with a new set of sprint springs, but the shaft coming out of the agx shock is too long, and when i tighten down the top nut that holds the entire strut assembly together it just pushes against the metal collar that goes in-between the bushings. I wish i could post pictures, but basically i can't tighten down the strut assembly all the way down to the bushing so when i drive the shock just bounces around because its not bolted down enough. I'm just wondering what is going on here, i'm guessing i was shipped the wrong set of agxs because i have never heard of anyone having this problem, are the agx from an awd or a 2g longer?

I was thinking about just cutting the metal collar, but then i will run out of threads for the top nut.

If i can try and paint an image for you here, if you look in the rear of my car on the inside, you see the two studs with the two nuts holding the tophat piece to the chassis, then in the middle you see the shaft from the shock sticking up, then around it there is the metal collar, the bushing and on top of that there is the big washer type hold down piece. Basically on mine the shaft is sticking up farther than usual, the top bushing is pushed down all the way but about an 8th of inch of the collar is sticking up, and the washer and nut are tightened down against the collar but they're not touching the bushing at all, if that makes any sense...

Thanks for any help.
