1G FWD interchangeable axles?

I did some research and was unable to come up with any solid answers. I have a FWD 91 eclipse manual with a broken passenger axle. Will 2g axles work? Will AWD axles work? Will automatic axles work? I need to buy one this week and want to know what i can and can't use.

Run AWD axles if you can get some. They are stronger than your FWDs.

Can i only use the AWD axles from a 1g or will they swap out from a 2g?

I am unsure if the 2g's will work but 1g AWD axles will work.
