Resolved 1G Forward Facing Oil Filter Housing Tapped for Oil Cooler

I'm running a HX52 on a DNP T4 setup and im having clearance issues with my oil filter. I'm switching to the forward facing oil filter housing to allow my down pipe to clear.

My questions are:

Has anyone have oil temperature issues running the forward facing oil housing?

Has anyone tapped the forward facing oil housing for a oil cooler?

What makes you say that? I've got an uninstalled, used ffofh with a what I believe is a generic sandwich adapter I've got just laying around that I plan on installing sometime. Have you had or heard bad experiences with generic adapters? If so, what was/where the problems?
