no n20, i hate it. and im pretty sure awd loses 25%-30% to the wheels and a rwd car loses 15% that why on a rwd car 340rwhp=400bhp but on a 400bhp on a awd car with 30% lose its 280awhp.

you said keep revs high and not worry about it, that all good on a track but i want a street car. were i will have to stop and then go again. and from those stops i dont want a car that feels slow as hell even though it has 400hp. i dont know i guess i just have to do it and if it sucks oh well.

it suck cause i dont want a v8 but i want a performave car and when it come to turbo cars it seems like you just cant have a bad ass all around powerful car. u got to either have a low hp car or a high hp car that has no down low power unless u want to spay at every stop(stupid as hell)

but you said the evo3 16g will put out 350hp at the wheels right, so mabey it will be all good. wish someone around here had a 400hp 2.0l so i could get a ride in it and know for sure. when would the 16g hit full boost with all the supporting mods comapred to the response of a stock tsi automatic????(cause i liked its response) thanks

if you look on dsmtimes.org you get some idea off what a turbo will run.

The best evo3 16g i saw was running 11.825 117mph. That is about 380 awhp using simple calculations

... you want an automatic... and you want it to be both a drag car and a daily driver.....

could just get like a 4000 rpm stall torque converter.... that'd be crazy.. might need some extra cooling though :|

and WHAT is your DAMN BUDGET

naw i dont want an automatic. that what the tsi i drove was though and i am asking if a automatic revs slower than a manual?? i was told a stock t25 is fully spooled arounjd 3000rpm and i figure thats for a 5 speed so im just wondering when an automatic tsi hits full boost????

You know, my car barely has any lag, since it's the same size turbine as the stock 14b... I love it on the street, even when I'm turning I can go normal but if there's traffic it GETS UP AND GOES, even in the lower rpm.

.. 1gs come stock with 14b turbos... 2gs come with the small t25. and if you're getting a manual, could just slip the clutch at a little higher RPM.

oh yeah.. and what budget are we talking here???????? :thumbdown

buget aint importtant since im not doing it all at once. ill do what i can when i can, you know???

but can someone plz answe my question of wether or not a automatic lags more than a manual??? and what rpm the stock 14b hit full boost on an automatic 1g???? thanks

Why would an automatic lag more? It'll have less top end because of the cams and the automatic will add more loss to the AWD, so then yes you'll have to make about 100 more hp to the crank than to the wheels at 300-400hp. My question to you is why the hell do you want a fast car but want to keep with the 14b w/ no nos? MAKE UP YOUR MIND!

heh i know... quite frustrating when you have no idea what hes trying to work with to get the 12 second result... and especailly cause hes dealing with random hp numbers rather than definite goals.

Yes.. you can make a 12 second dsm. hell, theres lots of ways to go about it... but everything costs money... i can spend 3K and make a 12 sec dsm, or i can spend 13k and make a 12 sec dsm... one would just be wayy more reliable/comfortable for daily driving
