Need more Info, can the car start?

If the car starts, but doesnt move almost sounds like its not going into gear.

And if thats the case, u should check your fluid levels.
I see alot of wet spots and spills under the car, I wouldnt be surprised if your transmission fluid is low.

the engine starts. but the car doesn't move even if i hit the gas. one time my dad was driving the car on a highway, he was running 100's then he noticed that he was loosing pick up. what could be the problem? do you think its with the transmission? when we bought the car it was working fine.

Honestly sounds like a transmission problem to me.
But like I said, check the fluid level and start from there.

Does putting it into reverse work?, is the car able move freely by pushing it? is the ebrake up?

Start with checking small things first like fluids and what not.

fluid level is okay. reverse doesn't work as well. And the car moves freely by pushing it. I hope i can still work on my present transmission, buying a new transmission costs a lot.

yea, that sucks. Well you never know, I could be wrong, Im no mechanic, but it sounds like that transmission is going to need some work. Hopefully some other members will supply some feedback to this postjust in case im off on my assumption of it being a transmission problem.
Good Luck
