ok not for sure about the forum. but i know if i blog this it will taken off but i have a 3a racing exhaust. and i have been looking for a different exhaust that gives a nice deep throaty tone. but i really only heard those on the turbos. so my ? could i still get the nice tone with only have a n/t or will i have to live with my kinda ricey tone i dont mind it i like it. but i love the deep tone of the turbo exhaust thanks.

The turbo cars are always going to sound a little deeper while a N/T car will be a little louder and not as deep sounding. That's just the way it is:) I'm not sure what your particular muffler is exactly like, but if it is a small canister type it will be loud for sure. If you want a deeper tone look for a muffler with a bigger body with more packing material. That should make it sound quite a bit deeper and quieter. Good luck:thumb:

I really liked the way the 2.5" Pacesetter cat-back exhaust sounded back when I had that. At the time i wanted it louder so I cut of the Pacesetter muffler off and put on a Mangaflow race muffler. It got LOUD! Then I added the Pacesetter header/downpipe and it got even LOUDER. Not deep at all, just loud. I kept it that way for several years and then I got sick of the noise. I tried to find that old Pacesetter muffler but they don't sell it by itself, only the cat-back kit. I ended up cutting off the Magnaflow and adding a Vibrant Streetpower muffler and a RRE louvered core resonator and it helped, made it deeper, but it was still pretty loud. All this to say that I wish I had kept that Pacesetter Cat-back system by itself.

All this to say that if you do a full exhaust on an non-turbo you just get a lot of noise. That's what I was telling you on your other thread about non-turbo downpipes.

That's all I have to say about that.

dang i was hoping to get some good news about the muffler. but oh well my 3a gets the job done good but man some of those turbos just sounds sick when the boost passed. i wish i could find a turbo but i love my laser got it for a 160 bucks form a dealership so i guess i aint complaing. thanks guys so just stick with my exhaust:thumb: then
