Ok so I'm looking to maybe buy my 3rd Laser this week and it will be my first auto. This one will more than likely donate it's auto parts to my 5spd.
I want to have a ratchet shifter in the car manually shifting but I don't want change the harness and add tcu.
I've pulled up the diagram picture from Kiggly about the wiring change and went through two dozen threads today. I don't fully understand the wiring or install of a ratchet system without using the tcu. Could someone help clear this up?? This would just be adding the auto stuff to the car but keeping the 5spd body harness and ecu.
