1g door locks

[shhh i know]

So here is an easy question for someone I'm sure. I'd look it up in my manual but can't seem to find it at the moment.

Are some of the 1g DSM door locks wired to some kind of vacuum line or something? I mean what makes the passenger door lock when the drivers is locked or unlocked, or are they electrical?

It's just electrical, my doors always work in unison.

Okay thanks so then I need to wire my alarm up that way. I wasn't sure if the were electric or not. Are the positive, negative, or reverse polarity systems?
