This appears to be some sort of underbody cover or shield whose purpose and location I can't figure out or recall. From the date it appears to be from a '92 car, but this past summer I worked on two '92 cars, my Talon and my mom's Camry, and it could be from either. I tried posting it on a Camry forum but no one recognized it so I thought I'd ask here. It's almost certainly from one of them. There's no product code on either side, just "PE".

I haven't seen this. I've quite extensively stripped multiple 1G's at junkyards to keep parts in circulation but haven't come across this part, at least not to my recollection. I also owned a '92 that I tore into a bit, but again, don't know of this part.

I could be wrong, but that's in far too good of a condition to be from an average 1G. Normally I find that the underbody plastics are either missing or are hazy and brittle. It could be this way if an example were mostly garage kept, but I thought I recalled yours being parked on the street for some time.

Maybe someone with a clean and complete 1G can give input. But I haven't seen this part nor have I seen similar underbody plastics in such good shape on a 1G.

Given the responses it doesn't look like it's from my Talon, so it's got to be the Camry, which has covers and shields with these square holes. Just can't figure out which one.

And actually my Talon's covers are in comparably decent shape. It was garaged for around half of its life, and they appear to be pretty well-made to me. At least the side ones. The front ones are crap and paper-thin, where you actually need them to be tough given how low the car is and how many driveways have steep slopes plus those low cement barriers I'm always overshooting when parking.
