1G Carbon Fiber Doors

No none makes them, but they would be nice to have. Im sure they would be nowhere near DOT legal, but then again how many of us actually drive fully legal cars? My guess would be not many.

I've seen CF doors for 2g, but not 1g. ####ers really tend to neglect making products for 1g's. Just because the fact it's not a ####ing chick car. CF door with the doors frame being aluminum, would be nice. Very strong, yet lighter.

FYI: 1Gb Talon doors are ~85lbs each! (urethane skins alone are ~11lbs each) Gutting stock doors can bring them down to ~35lbs. This is still with retaining weather seal and glued-in factory glass.

If you want to save more weight, there might be another 8-10lbs in those factory doors, if you do not care about weather/sound seal.

So bare this in mind when you are about spend $1000 on FG/CF doors in the name weight savings!

However, if you need a fashion statement of CF doors, I can't help you there ;).

has anyone seen teh 2006 Ralliart eclipse? All carbon fiber panels.. with 4g63 and AWD... It is pretty much taking an evo and putting a 4g body on it... I wish Eclipses had 4g63's again... :(

If you just clicked on the gtfabrications.com link you would have seens CF hatch for the 1G right there. Yeah i would just gut the doors to save the weight and put the 1500$/each into speed mods. Im going to be getting a CF hood(oem), and cf hatch, both will be painted over though, I merely want the weight savings of CF, but staying sleeper.
